About COTS

30 years ago, this community came together, expressing its conviction that no child or adult should be without housing, support and compassion.

When homelessness came to Petaluma, people got to work.

Volunteers gave birth to COTS, an organization which still relies on grassroots support and volunteerism to serve over 2,400 people each year and achieve housing placement rates that are well above the national average.

Thanks to our supporters, each year COTS is able to shelter thousands, find permanent housing for 950 people, and prevent homelessness for hundreds more.
